Dear Eureka! members and interested families,
Over and over again, the concept of PASSION comes up–not only in college admissions, but in a person’s overall approach to life. Passion brings excitement, sparkle, and an extra boost of motivation, even for tackling difficult tasks. It is hard to overstate the value of pursuits that bring us delight, allow us to serve others, and help us leave our footprints–or even a legacy–on our world.
Come join us as we explore this intriguing topic and address a few key questions:
1) How can we discover, explore, and nurture our passions?
2) How can we “layer” our passions in an array of activities and projects during high schools–to attract colleges but also simply to deepen our level of experience in our very favorite pursuits?
3) What is the balance between wholeheartedly pursuing our top passions and being realistic and practical about college majors and career choices?
