Intro to Engineering Teacher
Greg Reitinger has worked 38+ years as an engineer at Lockheed Martin. He has worked in a wide range of engineering areas including: Missile Dynamics Engineer, Post-flight Analysis Engineering Lead, System Engineer Lead, System Engineering Manager, and Quality Engineering Management. Greg has been active in Boy Scouts Of America as an adult leader for the 7+ years in Troop 286. Greg is currently serving as an Assistant Scout Master- Scout Leader Coach, in BSA Troop 286, leading adult leaders and mentoring youth. He is a BSA Merit Badge Counselor for Engineering, Woodworking, Fishing, Camping, and Cooking. Greg has assisted his wife Laurie, in homeschooling his son, Jonny through 9th grade. Jonny started attending The King’s Academy (TKA) in Sunnyvale in his 10th grade year. Greg has a passion for showing youth the beauty of God’s creation in nature and developing their ability to apply their own creative talents and gifts. Greg has also served as an adult leader on the TKA Tecate Mexico home building service trips starting in 2017.Greg holds a BS in Industrial Management from San Jose State University, School of Engineering. Greg also has two older sons, Joseph and Gregory, both in living and working in the Bay Area. Greg, Laurie and son, Jonny, attend St. Christopher Church in San Jose. Greg loves woodworking, fishing, camping, and backpacking.
