Middle School Art Instructor

In her season of life, Vicky’s mission is to bring awareness and appreciation to one of God’s gifts: The gift of Visual Art! A recent prompting took her on a two-year independent study of a Disney artist whose style she learned when she was in high school. This endeavor climaxed to an Art Show and an invitation for Vicky to teach Art at San Jose Christian School while
training in leadership and biblical studies as an Intern at Peninsula Bible Church Cupertino.

Prior to staying home and taking care of her daughter for 14 years, Vicky worked in a gallery for 3 years where she was promoted as an Art Director and eventually transitioned on the Interior Design and Architectural field for seven years. She briefly counseled abused teenagers after returning from a two-year missionary work in the Philippines immediately after receiving her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree from UC Berkeley.

Vicky enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and friends. She’s currently studying Hebrew to gain a deeper understanding of God’s word in the Old Testament, and looks forward to learning Greek in the future. Her family hosts many church events and actively serves in their home church.
